RE: XML-Dev list Problems (re:Whither xml-dev...)
To the XML-DEV Community:
No doubt, many of you noticed the recent lack of traffic on the XML-DEV
mailing list. On November 30th, unauthorized access was gained to the
list, and the entire subscriber database was maliciously deleted. OASIS
promptly investigated the incident, closed the security hole and
restored the list.

I would like to thank those of the XML-DEV community, OASIS staff, legal

council, and law enforcement who contributed to the fast resolution of
this situation and helped restore XML-DEV services.

The OASIS Technology Services Group considers our work with the XML-DEV
community to be a top priority. Please do not hesitate to call on us
for assistance in the future.

Regards,
Jeffrey Lomas
Manager-Technology Services
OASIS
