performance and functionality of several Java document models. It's not 
always clear what the tradeoffs are when you choose a model, and it can 
require extensive recoding to switch if you later change your mind. 
Putting performance results in the context of feature sets and 
compliance with standards, the author gives some advice on making the 
right choice for your requirements. The article includes several charts 
and the source code for the test suite."
