Re: Father of XML?

Aside from the reference below with far too many Canadians,  I think 
that the reference results from Charles Goldfarb, Ed Mosher and Ray 
Lorie who came up with the background for the first Generalized Markup 
language in about 1969 or so and subsequently lead to SGML, which is 
probably the true father of XML.  The people listed below were the 
Doctors and Nurses that helped deliver the XML child.
