Yes, I saw that.  We have dished that subject 
so often here, I felt in light of other 
long torturous threads, it wasn't worth 
mentioning.   A problem with that announcement 
is that standards being written requiring Java 
support now have a download problem for a 
certain percentage of the target audience.

I'm excited about web services.  It solves 
certain large problems in my industry.

<absurdity>What!  You don't consider XML programming? 
They said HTML was and paid accordingly. 
Did I miss the memo? </absurdity>
