As frequently happens, Rick's summed up my position better than I have. Mostly, I have lot of concerns that what happens between the initial documents and the PSVI is too complex, and that building processing tools which expect to work with the PSVI and the many parts in XML Schemas is problematic. I'd like to suggest a general slowdown in piling 'XML' specs upon 'XML' specs for a little while at least, though I hardly expect that to happen.
