Must be something in the stars.  But then I'm a Virgo,
so I'm too sceptical to believe in astrology... ;-)

But seriously I think since I subscibed to this list
earlier this year it has gone through various phases,
sometimes highly technical, often quite specific in
some subset area of XML, sometimes dealing with
basics, sometimes getting philosophical, and more
recently it seems, highly political.

Personnally I find this to be a sign of the lists strength
of character and the rounded outlook of the lists
community spirit.  Yes I said 'community'.  By this
I don't mean every is necissarilly cosy with everyone
else, every community I have ever been in has had
its rivalry's, competiveness and opposing points of
view.

I don't think it helps to try and deny this, or attempt
to be 'above' it in some kind of transcendalist way.
To do so would be to diminish the richness of the
full human experience not enhance it.
