I have started (and stuffed up first time DOH) registration at Source Forge. Please if any potential contributors has strong opinions or advice about this, please let me know. Otherwise I will press ahead. One matter is that Source Forge requires a licence to be nominated. The original code was under "GPL or MPL" but I would like to migrate to the xlib/libpng license, which is imposes almost no restrictions on any party to make use of the code. (I will approach the various implementers privately about this too.) In particular, I want to make it easy for companies to implement it in commercial products without complication. http://www.opensource.org/licenses/zlib-license.html I'll announce it on various lists when it has been set up.
