Hi, there, I think things are little mote complicated than u thought - first
of all, XSLT is on top of XSL, for a flat data file or raw data - basicly
for transffering from one XML format to the other, so the first thing u do
is to get or write a XML convertor to convert your data into XML format,
then use XSLT ... I ran into the same situation couple of days ago, for
given flat data file, I need make it XML based, and if it's possible for u
to use ADO 2.5 - life will be simple, since it has built in facility to
hanle native data stream and XML data stream, or u can just wirte a very
simple program to open up your raw data and load your DTD or schema, call us
XML parsor to construct ur original XML data, then transform to which ever
style u want - that's the job for XSLT, cheers.
