makers....
Well after hacking
around with
xsl:include and
xsl:import ...as a method
to "simply" insert
an external xsl file in the
stream ...it appears
that a xsl method does
not exist to
"simply" accomplish what I want
...
Most of the xsl
style sheets I create are
quite complicated
table structures....where you
may have 8 to 10
tables embedded with each
other to create a
master page layout that is
reusable for all of
a site's pages....I then have
just a repeatedly
used header table structure,
menu structure,
footer structure and then various
content structures
all inserted in the master page
layout
structure...
So my issue is to
find a method to "simply" insert
the header, menu,
footer and various structures in
the master table
layout...not something I can do
"simply" with the
current xsl...
Sure xsl:include and
xsl:import will bring in the external
files but I am
unable to "simply" insert those files inside
a table that is 5 or
more tables deep in the master xsl.
It would be so
convenient to just have an "xsl:insert" element
that would just
allow me to "simply" insert an external xsl
file "here" at
will...
Would there be a
possibility to have the "xsl:insert" element
considered
?????
