xsl bidirectional
If the output of a XSL Translation is an XML document.. then another style
sheet can be written that will transform the output document back to the
source document.

However, this approach will not work if the output was not an XML document.

Chances are that in many cases the transformation back might be difficult
as some different elements in your input might map to the same element in
the output. However, if whatever is to process your output ignores
information it doesn't understand, you may be able for instance to flag
output elements with specific attributes that would guarantee a safe
mapping back. You'd still have to write another stylesheet though.
