sql server schema generator
Actually, XML Spy can generate both XML Schemas AND Microsoft XML-Data
Reduced (XDR) or BizTalk Schemas (as well as DTDs and DCDs) from any example
XML document. And you can import data from an ADO or ODBC compliant database
(such as SQL Server or Oracle), so you can easily use XML Spy to both
convert your SQL database structures into XML Schemas or Microsoft XDR
schemas AND import/export the actual database data the same way.

Bob,
we use XML Spy which will generate W3C Schemas or XML Authority which will
generate Microsoft XDR.

I know there are some tools that take SQL Schema and generate XML DTDs.
Does anyone know of a tool out there that generates an XML Schema? I know
the schema stuff is not finalized yet, but that's OK for what I'm looking
for. If there is something in Beta, I'd really like to look at it. I want
to bootstrap an analysis project that needs to create an XML Schema [in the
MS environment, so I can leverage MSXML] for a SQL Server DB. I'm trying to
avoid typing it all by hand.
