It's worth a commercial, though.  Like Eckel's "Thinking in" books,
Kay's "XSLT Programmer's Reference" provides you with a kind of
philosophy of the language, a way to think in the language that allows
you to make full use of it.  As others have already said here, it's
highly recommended for anyone doing serious work with XSLT.  You *can*
try to program XSLT like a procedural language, but you won't get very
much joy of it, if you do.
