Another XSLT Question

xslt pseudocode
After the lashing I took yesterday by posting my amateur XSLT code, I'm
hesitant to post again, however, I have another dilemma.

The following pseudo-code contains a variable called phone_count that
references the number of phone numbers in the XML. I need to report the
value referenced by $phone_count inside the length attribute of the
array element.

Here's the code:

<xsl:template match="phones">
	<var name='phones'>
	<xsl:variable name="phone_count" select="count(.//phone)"/>
		<array length='$phone_count'>
	<xsl:for-each select="phone">
		...
	</xsl:for-each>
		</array>
	</var>
</xsl:template>

Can someone please lead me in the right direction for this task?

Thanks again,
Bruce
