[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] strange XML-like spam
I just got a mostly (bad) HTML message with: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> sticking out in the middle of it. The start tag was: <x-html> and yes, it ended with </x-html> It also had a META tag: META content="MSHTML 5.00.2722.2800" name=GENERATOR The only place it seemed to use the 'o' prefix was in a lot of: <o:p></o:p> I've got the full text, if anyone's curious. I guess this is a sign that XML and XHTML are on the march, sort of. (And it stated that "one out of every three Canadians will experience a life altering illness during his or her lifetime." Just because I work in XML doesn't mean I'm Canadian, except by Quebecois heritage.) Simon St.Laurent XML Elements of Style / XML: A Primer, 2nd Ed.
