Well regenerating the archive is going to break links in xmlhack 
and XML Deviant stories as well as in eclectic.

However given that the archives have been badly updated, myself and 
others (Edd, Simon, Eric et al) have been using mainly the 
egroups archive. I don't think it'd be *too* much trouble to go 
back over stories and update the links.

Some notice would be cool so the period for broken links is short.
Ideally if there's a possibility of identifying a quick mapping (e.g. 
msg num + x) to identify the new url then that would help.

Of course that assumes you're sticking with the current url format, 
otherwise it's going to take some more overhead to fix them up.

Anyone else want to jump in here?
