The specification is clear and well written, and there isn't all that much syntax needed. I didn't find the schema document particularly complex either, although you have to be willing to read specs. There did seem to be an error --an RDF example uses s.Creator, where s is the rdf schema spec. Should be dc.Creator I think. Luckily there are quite a few people using RDF now, so there is implementation experience as well as large amounts of actual data.
