xml musical notation
Anyone interested in, or know of efforts to develop a standard music
notation with an XML schema.

Converting MIDI files to XML should be easy.

For the future XML could be a good way to eventual replace MIDI, and the
limitations and compromises built into MIDI in order for it to work with
early 1980's embedded technologies.

Thanks,
Doug Forman
