Ann Ann Ann, it's not for the convenience of the developer. It's feature-driven by users. They keep asking the web to do things that apps do, as Steven has been saying. That's the world I live in. There's money in it, big big money. It's the money that's driving us in this direction. Now, you may not like money, that's your right, but my shareholders do, that's why they ponied up the big bucks, and so am I. So we go go go. We spent *years* listening to the whining complaints of people who say Don't go don't go. Enough!! These are not browser wars, Simon. Those were over a long time ago. AOL owns Netscape and Time Warner. XML? That's excellent if it makes it easier and more beautiful.
