An SML document will not be an XML 1.0 document.
No XML 1.0 parser can be used out-of-the box to
parse SML. Your use of "subset" here is
misleading.

I think this one crosses the rubicon. I have
high hopes for SML. *Please* make is truly
a subset of XML 1.0.

Likewise. Sigh. My first gut reaction is
to say "hey, I'll find some like-minded people
and do it myself and call it NBML - No Brainer
Markup Language - or something." But this is the
rocky road to a faction fight. I don't
want to go there. I live close to one of those
that has been going on for 300 years so
and I don't need another one.

*Please make SML truly a subset of XML 1.0*

regards,
