With a command like the following, James Clarke's spam will output the input with all the declarations in its internal subset. I have a dtdnorm.bat file that sends that to a perl script that outputs the declarations into their own DTD file. Being an SGML tool, the xml.dcl declaration is necessary and duplicate declarations aren't allowed. spam -mms -p -p xml.dcl test.xml >* automated mapping - takes documents arriving in one structure and >maps them to another.
