I am using Sun's XML Parser and DOM implementation (Java Project X Core Library TR2) -----Original Message----- From: Goyal, Sanjeev Sent: Monday, September 13, 1999 6:20 PM To: 'xml-dev@i...'; 'xml-feedback@j...' Subject: Associating Element Node to Document Node Hi, I want to associate a ElementNode to a Document before I append the Element to DocumentNode. Basically, I am specializing the ElementNode and writing my own element nodes. I have a specific requirements to do that. Following is the code snippet: public class TestNode extends ElementNode { public TestNode(XmlDocument parentDoc) { super(); setTag("SIFNode"); setOwnerDocument(parentDoc); } } I am not able to use the setOwnerDocument() API. Please help me in this regard. Thanks, Sanjeev xml-dev: A list for W3C XML Developers. To post, mailto:xml-dev@i...
