In SOX, you can do this as:

<elementtype name="Person">
	<model><sequence>
 		<element name="Name"/>
		<element name="Address"/>
	</sequence><model>
</elementtype>

<elementtype name="Kid">
	<model><sequence>
		<element name="father"/>
		<element name="mother"/>
	</sequence></model>
</elementttype>

<elementtype name="father">
	<instanceof name="Person"/>
</elementtype>

<elementtype name="mother">
	<instanceof name="Person"/>
</elementtype>
