We distribute 4DOM (http://www.fourthought.com/opentech/projects/4DOM/), an open-source DOM implementation in Python with CORBA support. Its Makefile can configure 4DOM for two ORBs: one open-source (ILU) and one free for non-commercial use (Fnorb). If you run one of these on the server, you can connect to it with any other ORB using IIOP. We are planning direct support for more ORBs in future. If you're intersted, however, I suggest you wait until next week when 4DOM 0.7 will be released, with so many improvements as to be practically a re-write. We are writing a BBS/WebForum system with it, and it works very well so far in distributed context. -- Uche Ogbuji FourThought LLC, IT Consultants uche.ogbuji@f...
