Hi, I tried to find the examples of ambiguity in the grammar for XML spec, couldn't find too many. One of the example is : PubidLiteral ::= '"' PubidChar* '"' | "'" (PubidChar - "'")* "'" I'm sure the expected precedence rules here are : PubidLiteral ::= ('"' PubidChar* '"') | ("'" (PubidChar - "'")* "'") And so if it is consistent, it looks like that AB | C should be parsed as (AB) | C.
