xml is already sufficiently baroque, that i can only presume that this was not
the deciding argument. :)

i surmise (from the timestamp on your message) that you are actually refering
here to my other posting re dtd encoding...

if the questions were not understandable, then i must have misunderstood
something basic about the draft's intentions. let my try again by simply
posing the open question:

could someone please post a "complete document" (that is including a dtd) for
the third example in section 5 of the draft (the one with the root element "bk:book")?
