[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] Status: Extensible Log Format (XLF) Initiative
At this point, there are 10 participants and I am expecting more to join the initiative on Monday and tapering off after that. Assuming everything goes well, we should have about 30 developers participating in various capacity on the spec by end of this week. We should have a mailing list setup by then as well. I would like everyone to understand that this effort will be a short and intense effort to establish the core XLF spec and then divided efforts to address DTD for individual log types starting with HTTP. In parallel, we will actively solicit support from server companies and log analyzer companies so that the new format will gain quick acceptance. I will post another status report by Tuesday so that everyone can be informed. Best wishes, Don Park xml-dev: A list for W3C XML Developers. To post, mailto:xml-dev@i...
