It is important. Doesn't #5's "easy to create" include "easy to author"
though?

One other item:

Paul's argument about using XSchema is, as you said, pretty persuasive. I
also agree with others' comments about the likely confusion between the
standard and the document (XSD vs. SDD), and think we could resolve this as
well by calling the standard XSchema and the documents XSchema documents,
or XSDs.
