Pawan SharmaSubject: Correcting multiple XML documents
Author: Pawan Sharma

Hi,
Is there any way by which we can correct the same kind of error in multiple xml documents at once.

I have large number of "not well formed" xml documents having same error.

Thanks & regards,
Pawan

Hi Pawan,
if the files are not well-formed they cannot be processed by an XML parser, and hence by an XSLT/XQuery processor. The only option is to use a regex-like (e.g. perl, sed) tool that can replace specific patterns with a correct one (this assuming that the error is always the same one)
