Hi All,

I have a scenario in which I need to perform the following mapping logic:

Source Structure:
<SrcMsg>
<Node1>
<Details>"<Name>XYZ</Name><Description>Desc1</Description><Id>ID123</Id>"</Details>
</Node1>
</SrcMsg>

Target Structure:

<TrgMsg>
<Node1>
<TargetID>ID123</TargetID>
</Node>
</TrgMsg>

i.e. I need to extract the data from Id tag within Details of Source message.
The Details node will have the following data as string:
<Name>XYZ</Name><Description>Desc1</Description><Id>ID123</Id>

How to perfrom this using XSLT Mapping.

Hi Abhishek,
if you have already loaded the source and target tree in XSLT Mapper with the XML/XSD you are going to use, you can just drag a link from Id to TargetID. Or were you asking a different question?

having double quotes around your tags does not make it a string but rather a mixed content.

Are you sure you have markup inside the element "Details" rathern the escape text that looks like this?

<SrcMsg>
<Node1>
<Details>"<Name>XYZ</Name><Description>Desc1</Description><Id>ID123</Id>"</Details>
</Node1>
</SrcMsg>

If you have something like the above XSLT would not work for you
