When I try to open a topic from the Help menu, I get a message saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." My internet connection is fine (I got to the forum via the Technical Support menu). Stylus Studio is not blocked by my Windows XP firewall. I do have the IE7 beta 2 installed on my computer since I was testing it against our product, if that makes a difference. (I generally browse with Firefox otherwise.)

Andrew,
the Stylus Studio online help is a standard .chm help system; it doesn't require connectivity to display topics.

Is the error triggered by a (set of) specific topic(s), or does it happen no matter which topic you choose?

It doesn't matter what I choose. The first topic I choose from the contents or index displays that message; any topics I try after that just blank the panel where the document should be displayed until I close the help and re-open it. It seems to work OK if I use the search tab.

Hi, Andrew. What follows is from a thread in a users group for the tool used to create the Stylus Studio online help. It's not definitive, but it suggests that there is a problem with IE7beta. We'll keep an eye on this (thanks for bringing it to our attention), but for the present, Stylus Studio support does not extend to IE7beta.

Hi Kathleen --

I tested the context-sensitive help for WWP 2003 Pro itself, and there does seem to be a problem with the IE 7 beta.

The first time you click a help button, the frameset opens after a rather long delay, but only to the splash screen. After that, clicking a help button opens the correct page of the help system. <snip>
