I've downloaded Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition. But trying to "Get Evaluation Key" failed. So i got every few minutes a box to register and activate Stylus Studio, but its still saying: ... error while connecting to our server ... please try later .. But later it is still the same.

How can I activate this product to use it without the bugging box.

Kerstin,
sounds like Stylus Studio is unable to contact our activation server; we checked, and the server seems to be running smoothly.

Maybe your firewall is preventing Stylus Studio from connecting? Are you working behind a proxy server? Stylus Studio needs to open an https connection to www.stylusstudio.com to submit your registration and activate your trial/full license.

That's understandable.

FYI: Stylus Studio trial licenses need connection to the internet to check their state with the activation server; paid licenses only need connection until activation is complete.

Hello Monollo,

maybe there was a problem with the activation-server. I tried to activate on tuesday (behind a proxy) and on wednesday (without proxy) and it didn't work. Now, I'm behind a proxy and my Firewall is still activated and the activation of Stylus Studio worked.

That sounds very strange; are you sure you are running Stylus Studio 2006 (please check the Help - About box for details about version and build number),

Can you email stylus-field-report@progress.com and the activaction key you are currently using?

Hi,

I just purchased a copy of Stylus Studio, but am unable to activate it as my company does not allow our desktops to have an internet connection. How can I activate my license?
