Manipe Subject: Changing stylesheet href dynamically
Author: Manipe

What I'm trying to do is change the stylesheet that an xml file uses while viewing a file to a different one.
Basically I'm trying to edit the <?xml-stylesheet ...> tag dynamically, i.e. with javascript, and then reloading the page. Or if it works by just changing the tag without reloading, that'd be even better.

Is there a way to do this, or do I have to make a different xml file for each different xsl i want to use and just link to them instead.

It doesn't sound like it will work, because if you reload the
XML from the original source, you will get the old value of
the xsl-stylesheet PI.

But not knowing which browser you are using, it makes it hard
to give further advice.

Well, I want it to work on all browsers possible, with one script.<br> I wonder would it be possible to change the DOCTYPE source, or would I run into the same problem.
