(Deleted User) Subject: displaying xml with Stylus xls in IE Browswer 5.0
Author: (Deleted User)

Hi,

I have developed a Stylus stylesheet in version 1.0.4.02. The xml preview looks great in IE Preview Tab.

When I load the xml in IE 5.00.2919.6307 none of the xml text appears, only the text I added into the individual templates. I can tell IE is associating the correct xsl created by Styles because of the template text.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,

Hi,

I think the problem might be that you are trying to develop a stylesheet that would work with the IE5 processor (that is, be processed on the browser client when you load the xml file) but have Stylus in "native processor" mode. The IE5 processor and an xslt rec-compliant processor are quite different. If your target is IE5, you should change the option in Tools|Options in Stylus to specify that you would like to use the IE5 processor.
