Fawad HalimSubject: Attributes order
Author: Fawad Halim

Hi,
Can someone explain to me what order stylus uses for ordering attributes? It doesn't add them in the order we add them, nor does it use the order in the destination schema. We have several applications that require attributes in a particular order and reordering the attributes by hand is quite tedious.

are you refering the xsl:attribute order generated by xslt mapper?

yes, we see the problem you are experiencing in xslt mapper which insert xsl:attribute in the wrong order in one particular case. we will fix the problem in the next public update.

in the meanwhile, there is an easy workaround to solve the problem and you don't have to manually order the attributes. you can create the link on the last attribute or any element first, after that, all the attributes you added will follow the order in target schema.

hope this helps.

song.
