Chris SchloegelSubject: If a string is empty HELP!
Author: Chris Schloegel

I'm new to this so this might just be some simple mistake. My basic task is to:

1. Identify if a node has ANY content
2. Display an image with Node content as link.
Here's what I tried, as I understood it boolean should return a true if there is anything in the string. Apparently I'm wrong because it shows images even when there is no string.
Here is my code:

<xsl:if test="boolean(Signup)">
<a>
<xsl:attribute name="HREF">
<xsl:value-of select="Signup"/>
</xsl:attribute>
<img hspace="0" src="signup.gif" align="absMiddle" border="0"/>
</a>
</xsl:if>

The logic seems correct but obviously I'm missing something and would appreciate some help.
Peace,
Chris
