Chad RoweSubject: xsl character map support?
Author: Chad Rowe

Does SS 6.0 build 212h support XSLT 2.0 character maps?

I'm trying to include the following segment but SS does not seem to recognize the xsl:output-character element

<xsl:output method="text" use-character-maps="isolat1"/>

<xsl:character-map name="isolat1">
<xsl:output-character character="á" string="&aacute;" />
<xsl:output-character character="Á" string="&Aacute;" />
</xsl:character-map>

Is there another way to do these character conversions?

Thanks,
Chad

You could use a in-line DTD
Hope this helps
Ivan

<xsl:template match="/">

<a>&aacute;</a>
<A>&Aacute;</A>
<C><xsl:value-of select="'&Aacute;'"/></C>
