Mohamed El WakilSubject: APIs and OCXs
Author: Mohamed El Wakil

Hi there,

I'm using Stylus Studio to develop XQuery expressions. I like the environment, but at the end, I will need to be able to call the XQuery expressions from my the programming language I'm using VB.NET.

So, are there APIs or COM components, which I can use to exploit Stylus Studio capabilities from VB.NET?

Regards,
Mohamed El Wakil

Hi Mohamed,
given the current status of the specs, the XQuery engine is not (yet) exposed by Stylus as a stand-alone engine.
The only way to programmatically invoke the engine of Stylus 5.1 is by using the StylusXql.exe command line processor.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
