Would be nice to have a bgcolor and an alternate bgcolor for repeating rows, something that can generate:
(xsl:element name="tr")
(xsl:if test="position() mod 2 = 0")
(xsl:attribute name="bgcolor")#ff0000(/xsl:attribute)
(/xsl:if)
...

This is already possible in WYSWYG.
You should take a look to the video tutorial named "Working with tables"
