Jean-Michel DavidSubject: DISAPPEARING CODE! (AGAIN)
Author: Jean-Michel David
Date: 11 Oct 2003 10:27 PM
When I drag a repeating element in the Wysiwyg view and switch to source view,
code is "cleaned" and reverted.

ex. I create a combo; I drag a repeating element in option field; it creates proper xsl:for-each; as soon as I highlight combo and switch to source, it revert to:
<select />

Major bug; how can we build a dynamic combo with that bug?

Can you tell us what Stylus Studio version/build you are running? If it
isn't BL127e, you can find it on http://www.stylusstudio.com/update

In the meanwhile, we will try reproducing the problem here.
Thanks,
Minollo

Jean,

I've managed to reproduce the problem and am working on the fix. The fix
will be available in the next service release.

Thanks for reporting bugs.

Thanks Min,

It would be nice if, when you do what I described (dragging an enumerated element on a combo in WYSIWYG), it fills the xsl:for-each with appropriate value-of (parenthesis instead of tags to display in the forum):

(xsl:for-each select="item")
 (option)(xsl:value-of select="."/)(/option)
(/xsl:for-each)

currently, it gives:

(xsl:for-each select="item")
 (option)Option(/option)
...

Thanks for making suggestions. I'll consider your suggestions to improve
Stylus Studio. For this specific feature you suggested, I know it's
helpful in some cases. However, it may also reduce the flexibility,
especially when the repeating element includes complex children with
sub-elements. Some users may want more control over it than simply
putting
(option)(xsl:value-of select="."/)(/option)

Thanks,
Min

I'm very happy to see that it's fixed in build 127f.

I'm also impressed for reactivity from Stylus development team.

When will we have dynamic hyperlinks? :)

Thank you!

For the record, BL127f has not been released officially yet. We made a
pre-release available to Jean-Michel.

We will.
