P HoeveSubject: XMLtoXML Mapper not showing entire Schema tree
Author: P Hoeve
Date: 09 Sep 2003 08:36 AM
I am using the XML to XML mapper to create an XSL file to go from a DTD based doc to a Schema based doc.
I start the mapper and give it the dtd as the source and the schema as the destination.
The schema displays on the right, but will not expand to show all the detail.
See attachments. From the root, try and expand CreateResRQ/transactionKey/transactionDealerType. There should be a sequence of elements under transactionDealerType and they don't show.
If I open the xsd in SS I can navigate to the sequence.
Is this a bug or something I'm doing wrong?

hi, Hoeve

we just fixed a bug in this area. the problem happened when the xsd schema
import/include other schemas, some elements or types will be lost.

this fix will be available very soon. it will let you to see all the details
of the elements defined in imported schema.

for the time being, you can use a xml instance as schema which will allow
you to see the elements details too, only it may be not be as complete as
schema.

hope this helps.
