Adriaan VanderendeSubject: locking via webdav

Hi,

We use webdav of PVCS to retrieve and save assets. Do you know how to get locking sources into webdav?

When we open a source from webdav,it is open for update and can be saved and versionend automatically when saving.

Hi Adriaan,
we didn't implement locking in our WebDAV support because it doesn't map to
a common file system feature; in our intentions, locking/versioning should
be done through the source control support that Studio provides.
The only file system feature that could resemble a WebDAV exclusive write
lock is the read-only flag; we could add a menu item to let the user
manually toggle this flag. Would this be acceptable for you?

Alberto
