Adam Van den HovenSubject: Feature Request -- Scenarios

Hey guys,

I'd like to suggest a change to the way that scenarios are handled. I often have that I'm developing stylesheets where I need to break the code into a number of imported stylesheets. It is almost always the case that when I'm editing one of my library templates, I need to run a scenario from my test stylesheet which means that I need to go find that file (which can be a pain in a project) and run the scenario from there.

I'd much rather be able to run the scenario from the template where I'm working. I makes it so much easier to code/test/code/test/code/test...

After snooping at the prj files and the xsl files in apps other than SS, I now understand how scenarios are managed. If scenarios belonged to the project and not to individual files, this should be doable. I'm also not too keen on using the comments to hide these things.

Along the same lines, it would be nice to store queries the same way. This could make it easy to specify a query that you want to run on only one file, or in a group of files or any file.

But that's just MHO.

We have received a similar request in the past.
As soon as we have a chance, we'll sit down and think how to improve
scenario management.

Thanks!
Minollo
