Subject:Using/filling variables Author:(Deleted User) Date:09 Jul 2001 08:09 AM
Hi Space!
Is it really W3C conform that Stylus Studio gives an error when I try to use
the variable "BildExtension" in the "img" tag?
If so, what can I do, that I can see the variable "BildExtension" in the
"img" tag. (Please don't say, I need to copy the img-line in the / tag.).
If this is W3C conform, then how the hell can I fill a variable which value
depens on something and I need the variable later in my XSLT-doc?

"BildExtension" is not defined! -->

Yes, it is W3C conform. You are trying to use BildExtension out of its scope.
To do what you are trying to do, you may want to call a named template
specifying the proper parameter.
