Bruce CantorSubject: Fonts in Stylus Studio
Author: Bruce Cantor

Hi

I mainly use Stylus Studio for XML, XLST and XQUERY files.

I like that the editor is using a fixed width font like Courier or Courier New and when I create my own files I can choose this font.
And I have chosen it as my default font in settings.

But sometimes, when opening files from partners the font is something else and it can not be changed to Courier, the font is not included in the editors font drop-down.

Is it be possible / would it be possible to always have a font available?

Or maybe let the font stay as defined in settings, and only let the font change when editing something where choosing a font makes sense, e.g. in the designer tab.

Stylus Studio detects which fonts are capable to render the XML in the document.

If a particular font does not show up it's because according to the Windows API cannot render some of the characters you have in the document.
