Tom BellmerSubject: Substring characters / words?
Author: Tom Bellmer

I'd like to use XSLT to read some RSS content. I want to display the title and show the first say 100 characters. The twist is that I do not want stop in the middle of a word but would rather expand or contract the 100 character limit to get a whole word.

I am new to XSLT and have no idea how this might be accomplished. Can anyone help?

The best place for answers like this is the xsl-list forum, but I've
found the book XSLT Cookbook especially useful.
