Manic RajSubject: Recursively update node value to a variable
Author: Manic Raj
Date: 11 Nov 2009 04:09 AM
Hi everybody,
I am new to XSLT programming,
I have an XML like the foll.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?>
<catalog>
<offering offeringId="9628">
<metadata name="Name" value="LOR" />
<metadata name="Actors" value="Toby Mc" />
<metadata name="Actors" value="Tom" />
<metadata name="Actors" value="Waveman" />
<metadata name="Director" value="Lichtenstein" />
</offering>
</catalog>

I need to get the final o/p as

<film>
<name>LOR</name>
<actor>Toby Mc, Tom,Lichtenstein, Mitchell</actor>
<director>Lichtenstein</director>
</film>

Based on the name="Actors" I need to form the comma separated <actor> value
I stuck here updating a variable in a loop and reading the value outside.
Can somebody help me to get this one out.

Thanks in advance... :)

Thanks,
~Manic

Hi,
which version of Stylus Studio are you using, and which processor have you selected in the Scenario Dialog?

Alberto
