Practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. Person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Pastry Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, basic communication and leadership skills and computer skills. We are looking for a candidate with 3 years pastry experience, preferably with a Baking Red Seal. Must be creative, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and work a flexible schedule of varying shifts.  Large quantity production and plated dessert experience are assets.

The ideal candidate will possess both hospitality industry experience and technical skills.</description>
<requirements html="false">Responsibilities:&#13;
&#13;
*	Typically requires overnight domestic and international travel up to 75' of the time.&#13;
*	Typically requires 45 hours of work per week.&#13;
*	Assists hotels in all aspects of deploying technology in a production environment, including coordinating with third-party vendors for required go-live components.&#13;
*	Sets up and installs computer hardware and software on site.  Ensures proper operation of the computer equipment, troubleshooting hardware or software issues while on site.&#13;
*	Conducts or coordinates end-user staff and management training classes to ensure a smooth installation process and minimize post-installation support requirements.&#13;
*	Maintains continuity of operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs that pertain to implementations.&#13;
*	Remains abreast of changes in user, system software and hardware requirements.&#13;
*	Documents and updates implementation details/configuration and conducts turnover to support group prior to exiting properties.&#13;
*	Develops and maintains documentation/procedures for the configuration and maintenance of hotel-based systems and other regular activities related to this job.&#13;

Qualifications:&#13;
&#13;
*	Ability to partner and communicate well with internal and external business partners (hotels/vendors).&#13;
*	Proven record of project management skills including multi-tasking, work prioritization, organizational skills, and meeting deadlines.&#13;
*	Hospitality/Hotel work experience a plus.&#13;
*	Valid passport is required.&#13;
*	Education or training in Information Technology or related or equivalent work experience.&#13;
*	Working knowledge of Microsoft environment including Windows operating systems &amp; office related products&#13;
*	Working knowledge of non-Microsoft software applications in a pc environment, i.e. Antivirus, Reporting Software, third party tools, and remote control software&#13;
*	Individual must be skilled in the purpose, procedures and requirements of basic networking.&#13;
*	Individual must have working knowledge of the TCP/IP network protocol.&#13;
*	Individual must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas.&#13;
*	Individual must be customer focused and have a clear understanding of their service role in the corporation.&#13;
