Shane McDanielsSubject: XALAN Processor

I purchased stylus studio and wanted to use XALAN as my processor as stated on the website (http://www.stylusstudio.com/xslt/xalan.html), but it is not showing up as an option. The referenced URL actually states " No additional downloads are necessary — when you download Stylus Studio, you get out-of-the-box support for the latest version of Apache Xalan-J — it's that easy!". Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi Shane,

Starting in 2007 Stylus Studio provides support for executing the XalanJ branch bundled with the Java platform. The processor is labeled Java built-in in the scenario dialog.

if you want to run the most recent version from Apache you can configure it as custom processor.

Hope this helps

I think I have the "custom" processor setup correctly, but I am unable to debug. Is there a way to get debugging enabled for a custom processor?

Debugging, back-mapping and profiling require a tight integration which is currently implemented only with Saxon and Microsoft XslTransform
