David DixSubject: Display values from .xml horizontally
Author: David Dix
Date: 01 Jan 2012 10:34 PM
I've only been working with .xml and .xsl for a couple weeks and have the following question.

How can I display the taxable gross values from the EmployeeTax node on the same row in different columns? The catch to this is each .xml file may not have the same tax values. For example, in the attached .xml file, there is a TaxCount = 4. Tomorrow the count could be 2 or 3. How can I display what is there in the EmployeeTax node and label the column heading with the Tax Descriptions?

Here is the desired output:

FED FICA MEDICARE MI
2,247.88 2,378.00 2,378.00 2,247.88

Thanks for the help!

This is the language version: XSLT 1.0.

We are asking which XSLT editor you are using.

I use Microsoft Visual Studio to open and edit the .xsl file. Hopefully this is what you are asking. Thanks again!

As I stated in my first post the forum policy is the following

<<"These boards are part of the Stylus Studio Developer Network. They are a service to users of Stylus Studio only.">>

If you download, register and start developing XSLT using Stylus
Studio you will have access to the forum resources.

Hope this helps
