John McculleySubject: Generating XQUERY to use in Oracle OSB
Author: John Mcculley

I am trying to use Stylus Studio to generate XQUERY that I can place in Oracle OSB. The XQUERY created in Stylus looks alot different than the XQUERY created in the previous XQUERY tool we used.(BEA Weblogic Workshop xquery mapper) Our previous tool created xquery methods with the xquery transform code inside the method. We would cut/paste the generated xquery method into Oracle Service Bus(OSB). The OSB will then pass a payload into the xquery method then the method will return the target payload. Can Stylus Studio create xquery code like this?

The XQuery mapping tool can make use of user defined functions but does not allow creating new one.

Hope this helps
